**GREAT PHOTO AND INTERVIEW OPPORTUNITY**

WHO:
Two Harlem Globetrotters will show off their stunning basketball talents at the Guinness World Records® booth to drum up excitement for the new Guinness World Records 2013 Edition.  Paul “Tiny” Sturgess, the “Tallest Living Basketball Player” (7 ft 7.2 inches), and Special K Daley will show off some of the great moves that landed them on the legendary basketball team.  Additionally, Daley, who already owns the title for “Furthest Hook Shot” (46 ft 6 in), will attempt to break his teammate’s record for “Longest Time to Spin a Basketball on the Nose” (5.1 seconds).

WHAT:

Guinness World Records will unveil the theme and cover of its best-selling annual book—the Guinness World Records 2013 Edition at BookExpo America, the nation’s largest book fair. The 2013 edition is the most comprehensive collection of global feats and inspirational attainments available around the globe on September 13th. Unique photo opportunities with the Harlem Globetrotters and life-sized cutouts of the “Largest Natural Afro” and “Tallest Living Basketball Player,” will be on hand so booth visitors could see how they measure up to the world’s biggest.

To commemorate BEA, Guinness World Records will also honor two of the industry’s most successful writers with new record titles:
Suzanne Collins – Bestselling Fantasy eBook Series: The Hunger Games trilogy sold 430,000 eBook copies in 2010 and 2.8 million eBook copies in 2011, totaling 3.23 million copies sold.

Dr. Seuss — Most Successful Children’s Book Series: The author’s books have sold 222 million copies to date. At one point, 16 of Seuss’ books were featured on the list of top 100 best-selling hardback children’s books of all time.
